In collaboration with College-Montrose Children’s Place (CMCP), a non-profit community organization dedicated to providing free family support and early education programs for over 3000 families annually, I had the privilege of contributing to the vibrant tapestry of their initiatives. CMCP serves as a beacon for families in Toronto, offering safe and inclusive spaces for children six and under to play, learn, and connect.
One notable project involved crafting a visually captivating poster artwork for CMCP's annual fundraising gala. This endeavor wasn't just about creating an aesthetically pleasing design; it was about encapsulating the spirit of community, growth, and support that defines CMCP's mission. The poster served as a visual testament to the organization's commitment to building a strong and connected community.
Additionally, I had the opportunity to design the Gooch Family Drop-in Program's hot lunch flyer—a piece that went beyond the mundane and transformed into a vibrant invitation, extending warmth and inclusivity to families participating in the program. These creative endeavors aimed not only to inform but also to evoke a sense of belonging and enthusiasm for the events and programs CMCP offers.
My goal was to contribute to the visual language that resonates with CMCP's values and engages the community, forging a connection that goes beyond the surface—a connection that reflects the heart of building communities together.
