At the City of Jacksonville Office of Sports and Entertainment, I was responsible for creating custom event maps for a variety of large-scale events, including the World of Nations Celebration and the Georgia-Florida Football Game. These maps were designed to enhance the attendee experience by providing clear, visually engaging wayfinding tools.
Each map was tailored to the specific needs of the event, highlighting key features such as parking areas, food vendors, entertainment stages, activity zones, and restroom facilities. I used vibrant graphics and easily recognizable icons to ensure attendees could navigate the event space with ease.
By adapting the design to the unique atmosphere of each event—whether celebrating cultural diversity at the World of Nations Celebration or energizing crowds at the Georgia-Florida Football Game—the maps contributed to a smooth, enjoyable experience for attendees.
This project demonstrated my ability to combine creative design with practical solutions, addressing the logistical challenges of large-scale events and improving overall attendee satisfaction.
